Prior to treatment, a consultation will occur to ensure optimal safety. On the day of your appointment be sure to hydrate! After the treatment, the “sunburn” effect will fade over 2-3 days with very few patients experiencing peeling or scabbing. Continued to hydrate following treatment for optimal healing. It is also important to decrease sun exposure and use high levels of SPF and/or hat to allow proper healing without discomfort or complication. It is best to avoid aggressive or harsh skincare products or exfoliants for the first week after treatment to ensure gentle healing.
